"Fantastic property that met and exceeded all our expectations. Spacious, stylish and very comfortable. Martin was very helpful, remotely giving us plenty of tips and advice on things to do, where to eat etc. Rosa was a phone call away locally to make sure our stay went smoothly. Mini studio on se sent vraiment à l’étroit, une cuisine pas entretenue (placard poussiéreux avec araignées), la vaisselle pas propre. La salle de bain est plutôt propre par rapport au reste. "We stayed for 5 night, the property is in a lovely quiet area with street parking available, I would definitely recommend renting a car. The owner and his son were quick with communication and very helpful. The property is a lovely older building with plenty of character, clean and everything was in working order. There is wifi in the common area which works well and the view from the rooms is fantastic. "

"I have mixed feelings about our stay at Joao's place. We were a bit disappointed to find the state of the place; we emailed the landlord but he did not respond until Vrbo contacted him. Positive: - location: the view over the ocean is spectacular! - silence: it is a quiet area, only residential. aside from a couple of dogs once in a while, there is no outside noise - sleep quality: the (hard) mattresses worked a charm and we slept really well - good fun with the table tennis in the common...

"Le seul bon point du logement est l'emplacement très calme et la vue magnifique. Malheureusement cela ne compense pas le reste et il est difficile de profiter d'un séjour dans ces conditions. La chambre: le plafond est globalement bas et très bas dans la chambre, et il y a une très forte odeur d'humidité, il est impossible d'ouvrir les placards à cause de cela et nous avons du dormir la fenêtre ouverte toutes les nuits. We received a very warm welcome from Jorge on our arrival to the villa. Jorge was extremely helpful and gave us excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants and places of interest to visit on the beautiful island of Madeira.
