"Really superb property with stunning sea cliff views. Apartment was very private, quiet and spotlessly clean. Really well appointed with everything we needed including a complimentary bottle of Maderian Wine which was soon consumed. Swimming pool was really nice to cool down in. Although it was a bit of a drive to get up to the property it was very pleasant and made for the great views. Steep section of straight road on the approach to the property but only 150 metres so not difficult. Lovely...

"A fabulous location, and surprisingly quiet for being in the heart of the old town. Apartment 1 is at the top of the building with 2 steep staircases to navigate. But once up there it is airy and bright with everything you could need. No hanging space for clothes but lots of room to store items flat. Accommodating and quick response to messages with host. "Great place to watch the sunset from a shared deck while having dinner. Double check if the jacuzzi is in working condition, it was off due to covid measures during my stay. wifi was not available as described, however there was signal for vodafone data. The host sends you GPS coordinates to find the location in a welcome message. If you are driving uphill to reach what looks like a shed at the GPS cooridnates, walk back downhill a few meters to find stairs going down towards the house."
