"We had a pool suite for a family of 4, and the room was enormous and so luxurious. The bed was very comfortable, and my children said that the sofa bed was too. We absolutely loved the pool on the balcony. Breakfast was very busy, and an amazing number of guests somehow manage to drop food on the floor. The staff were quick to clean it up and replenish the food. We had buffet dinner once and that was really nice. There was a good selection of food that was constantly topped up. The pools were excellent, but it was slightly annoying that other guests hogged the sunbeds by placing towels on them early in the day but didn't go there until later. "

"While there is much to see in Madeira, we enjoyed this home and its stunning views most. The sound of waves crashing below us, the lovely sunsets, the interesting features of the house made for a wonderful vacation. Celia and Alfredo are excellent hosts. the "

"Exactly as represented. Vitor assisted getting us settled and with his knowledge of local feasts and happenings. House had EVERYTHING you could possibly need while staying there. Clean and quiet. Vitor assisted us with baggage to and from the rental. Three minute walk uphill from the street parking, as noted in their VRBO ad. Would stay here again "

"Thomas' property was immaculate and had everything you could need for a short break. Jhonny came down to welcome us, and was a kind and gracious host, dropping everything to help us when our water supply suddenly went off. Balcony was great for evening sunbathing, and Arco itself is well positioned for easily getting around the island. All in all, very happy. Only thing missing was a pool, but you can't have everything :D Thanks Thomas and Jhonny for a great stay! "
