"My first wonderful shock came when I opened the curtains in my room, and there right in front of me were the pyramids, all three of them, up close. The Sphinx was even closer. I have been to 60+ countries and I've never had a view this exhilarating. The service was beyond superb. Adel Kamal Haneen went far out of his way to make everything run smoothly. "Rooms were spacious and very clean. Beds were very comfortable. It was lovely to have a balcony! There were lots of amenities available. Staff was friendly. Check out was slowed down considerably though as they were late in bringing our luggage. Our uber had to park and wait as staff went to find our bags. The cost of the room was very high ( over 200 usd per night) making a stay of more than 2 nights impossible."

"The room was a smoking room while we’ve asked for non smoking and we were told it has been changed; we checked the room the moved us to and it was still a smoking room with not clean tables so we complained next morning; they apologised and moved us to a much better room with full view on the Nile; from then onwards everything was arranged perfectly apart from the loud music noise late night"

"Had a lovely room and beautiful view, you can tell the hotel is dated but my room was clean and comfortable. They are clearly understaffed, lots of waiting time for reception. Breakfast is great and the omelette chef was wonderful. His smile made my day and he made the best omelettes. The rooftop bar was great and the pool area very good. What was a real downer when I left was I got an email calling me Dear Mr/Ms and that was really rude and hurtful. "
