"The pictures on the listing are what drew us to this beautiful secluded cottage and we were not disappointed! We enjoyed the quiet seclusion and breathtaking views. We enjoyed a scenic drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway for more mountain views and stopped for good food at My Father's Pizza, (We ate there more than once). And we enjoyed a visit from a small black bear. We had a good view of her from our dining room window. We highly recommend the Morning Glory Cottage! "

"This place is now our favorite lake getaway. Small and very cozy with well-stocked kitchen with all you need to cook your meals. The owner is wonderful and very easy to contact. "Stayed here prior to Helene - I hope everyone is okay and the house is good. Great Hosts - this is a nice spot, easy walking to dinner, shops, short drive to downtown. Super clean, and cute. Had a bottle of wine, coffee, etc. Bed was super comfy - recommend it. And the little porch is super nice. Again, I hope everyone is good, Asheville and the surrounding area is a great place to visit."

"Everything was perfect until we had to leave this little oasis right before Hurricane Helene whipped through the area. It was a dissappointing decision to make since we still had so much remaining on our to-do list. The house lived up to its Loverly name and was a love nest in every aspect. "Our family really enjoyed our stay! It was exactly as described. The beds were comfortable; as we also enjoyed the pond, sunsets on the porch, and Hershey, the donkey. We found him some pears from a tree on the property and he loved them! We look forward to booking the house again, as our daughter attends Mars Hill University and it's only about a 10 mile drive to the school."

"Where to begin ~ We really enjoyed our time spent in this lovely cottage. The hosts were a pleasure to communicate with and we enjoyed meeting the caretaker. She is just lovely.
