"The charming Marshall Cottage provided us the perfect location for a small Friendsgiving (Thanksgiving with close friends) with its central location, peaceful setting, amazing kitchen, and ample sleeping options. It is kid/family friendly and our 6 year old had plenty of romping room outside."

"This home was exactly as advertised, which is not always the case, but certainly was here. Very quiet, friendly neighborhood as well. Many rentals up here do not have A/C, but due to the unusually high humidity this weekend, we were definitely glad this one did. Simply loved everything about this rental. Next time we are in the area, we will check the availability here first. Thanks for a great weekend!!!"

"This was such a nice house! My son, husband and I stayed here for 3 days. It was great! There were condiments and so much stuff for us to use, which was nice coming from out of state and not wanting to buy all the things that we would just use a little of. The place smelled so clean and fresh! They were great about communication every step of the booking and check in. We plan on coming back with my other family members next time. There was lots of extra room!"

"The cabin is everything it says it is and then some. It is well equipped and maintained with care. I booked it specifically because of the views from the front porch. The sunrise and sunset were beyond magnificent. Sipping coffee early in the morning with the Blue Ridge mountains sprawling in the background was exactly what we needed. The host is very responsive. I had all my questions answered within an hour or so. We will most likely book this cabin again. "

"We absolutely adored the property, however for 2 older women, there was not enough toilet paper in the bathroom. We looked around and never found any other rolls… also, the fridge was off. We put food in it and it seemed to be on when we got there, however several hours later found our ice cream melted and the fridge was not on. Would have been good to have had a warning for that. Other than those 2 things it was a great stay. Beds comfy, quiet, and serene. "

"Such a unique experience. Gave a weekend stay to my family of boys who love The Hobbit and anything adventure. The set up inside is so cozy and we loved having the fireplace outside. They really thought of everything to make our winter stay cozy and enjoyable. Enjoyed being close to the ski slopes as well so great location for that and some good restaurants nearby but feel somewhat secluded when you’re at the house which was nice. "
