"My husband, 7yo son and I had a great time during our stay in BM at this sweet little house. We were able to walk to all the shops and restaurants easily and the house itself was just as shown in the photos - clean, cozy, and well-appointed. As others have mentioned, the surrounding properties were not as well-kept, which was a little off-putting at first. But we never had any security issues and the location mostly made up for that. It was a lovely place to stay for a small family or couple...

"Adorable property and very dog friendly!The hosts made sure we had everything we needed and were very kind and responsive. Nice neighborhood and several good restaurants very close. Would have been walking distance if the weather was warm. The property was only about a 15 minute drive to the Biltmore. It was a pleasure to be in Asheville again after 20 years. "

"My daughter and I stayed for our annual 2 week vacation away from "the guys". Bear's Den is everything we needed to recharge. The property and home are great. We spent a great deal of time outside painting, birdwatching, and reading. Listening to the river running was so relaxing. House has just about everything you need. The hot tub was perfect for after a hike. There are neighbors within view, but far enough away to still feel secluded. Just a wonderful place to get away and drown yourself in...
