"I simply wanted a room for the night having attended a funeral earlier. Check in and out was simple and the twin room was spacious and comfortable if a little dated. The bathroom was ok and I enjoyed a morning shower with good water pressure. Although there is no food offering the nearby pub offered well priced meals including an all day breakfast. Not a place for a romantic getaway but as a no frills value for money stay it was absolutely fine."

"For you pay i cant complain. A lovely old house caked in history and original features. With some money spent on it this could be real gem of a hotel. Just a little run down and would of been nice if breakfast was an option but all in all for the money paid it was totaly ok. "
