"I was impressed with the staff. We were accommodated with help to find pool chairs. Lunch consisting of a delicious burger with fries that was promptly delivered. The virgin strawberry daiquiris were the best I have had. The extra large pool with the waterfalls was beautiful and relaxing. Our room was nice with a cozy bed, nicely decorated and clean. Check in and out was a breeze. I cant wait to come back! "

"Really enjoyed our stay at Sonder the Deco, the room was excellent with plenty of space. Lovely to stay in an actual deco building. The staff were friendly and really helpful. Great location… next door to the famous south beach police station. There is a fabulous bakery opposite the hotel with the best croissants I’ve ever had (Miami award winning as well) some of common areas are a little tired. Would come back. "

"The property is well cared for. Rooms are clean. The outdoor bar off of the lobby is a great place to hang out and the staff was very friendly. One downside for us on this trip was that this property was FULL of kids. We traveled without our kids this time and were looking for a different/more relaxed experience. The pool was full of kids and it was nearly impossible to get a chair by the pool because families were out there by 8am....not that I really wanted to be at the pool after all because it was pretty loud. We also tried the beach and it was packed. You could barely get a glimpse of the water. The hotel has beds with LARGE canopies that are set up all along the front row ($400 to rent for the day). They ruin the view. Get to the beach by 9am if you want a chance at a view without paying for the beds. I have stayed here in the past and had a much different/more positive experience. I'd go back with my kids, but I'll be looking for another hotel for an adult weekend meant for relaxing."
