"The stay was great, everything was as published. It is quiet and secuded...so if you arrive after dark in fog like we did, have a flashlight/torch handy to help make your way from the parking area to the house. We ate at the nearby pub and had a nice meal. The host was super responsive to our communication via VRBO. It was located about 15 minute drive to York."

"Really lovely apartment just outside the city walls. Spotlessly clean, really comfortable and with everything you need for a great stay. Little extras including, sourdough bread, butter, preserves, milk, coffee, tea, orange juice, cereals, chocolate , wine and a treat from Betty's all made it feel really special and that you are very welcome. "The house was well laid out, immaculately clean and comfortable. The location was fab for easy access to the city on foot (we parked the car outside the house and didn't use it again until the drive home!), and the parking permit made it all very easy. A beautiful house for a really restful break - we would use this again!"

"We had such a lovely 2 night stay here! The lodge was in pristine condition, with all necessities like tea, coffee, milk. The hot tub was ready for us to get in. There were plenty of useful extras like iron, travel cot, hairdryers, plenty of toilet rolls. There was an en-suite with shower and a family bathroom too. "Location was excellent, 10min walk into the City Center, safe neighbourhood, lots of cafes and restaurants nearby (recommend Chocolate & Co) and a small park nearby perfect for a dog or kid. "We had a lovely stay for four days here. The apartment had enough space for us to spread out, and having an outdoor space and a washer/dryer was welcome. It got a bit hot one day where the bedrooms were; I would recommend a fan in each room and sun blocking curtains for warmer summer weather.
