"The hotel location was very convenient for us and the menu lunch and dinner very enjoyable. Room was quiet and quite spacious. The serious downside was the lack of a mini fridge and kettle IN OUR EN SUITE ROOM. With the shared fridge and kettle it was somewhere between a ‘Pub room ‘ and a completely comfortable , nicely carpeted 2.5 * hotel room . A good experience somewhat spoiled by penny pinching!"

"My partner and I stayed at the Macquarie 4 Star (locals referred to it as 'The Club') for one night in room 007. Access to the property, parking, and check-in was very easy. There wasn't much to do at check-in other than receive the key cards, give them my contact details, and choose whether we wanted to pre-book the buffet breakfast (not included with room, additional $20pp if pre-booked or $25pp if you show up unannounced).
