Upon arrival we were greeted and given our cards. Room was spacious, clean and tidy, and modern. The wine bottle in the fridge was opened already with some missing- i rang and said it wasnt us so we wouldnt be charged- no issues there. Next we checked out the bathroom, particularly the double ended bath which was the whole reason i booked this hotel and room. The bath was large and clean with about 6 jets. BUT the tap handle was at the pillow at one end of the bath so rendering it useless, the plug kept popping up and down causing my wifes leg to get pinched- romantic night ruined. The king bed was comfy. TVs both wouldnt cast to mobiles despite trying android and iphones. Heres the kicker- the aircon duct directly above the bed is not well insulated to outside, so when it rains the water falls from the high section of the building directly on the duct causing a sound like hail is on a tin roof- even though it was spitting rain outside. This caused us to be awake most of the night. Upon checkout i politely let the front desk staff know of our concerns and we were told 'thats how its always been' and theres nothing they could do about it. This tells me they are clearly aware of these 2 big issues! Room 1114.

Staff were lovely, slightly overpriced, but convenient, clean and safe. I lost my hearing aid whilst checking out, staff were amazing and immediately helped locate and return to me. Would happily stay again. No complaints at all.

We were very upset with how the staff treating to gusts and at that point, I even thought for a moment to ring the police or our lawyer. Three people mentioned that each of them is the Inn manager at three different time; even difficult to make a complaint. Very very rude. The staff asked to leave us if we don’t want to stay at around 9.00pm at night. Very disappointed. It is obvious that the management is not caring/ less caring about customer service. We simply asked for the receipt for credit card payment and the staff refused and strongly verbally harassed us. He asked to read the booking confirmation and the company can not give receipts at all. That is completely illegal in Australia: I have nothing against him personally as he looks like immigrant who has no clue about what he was doing except treating: I felt like he was going to hit me any time with his body language. I am thinking to send group memo to all of our group of companies, partners, clients and members the description of what we experienced and think twice for any business/official/work stays in this place. As we don't want any Australian to face such inconveniences and bullying. However, we informed the company CEO in writing about our inconvenience and unethical customer handling. Waiting to hear This is the first time we experienced such disappointment from hotel industry: No way we recommend to anyone who anticipates peace of mind and quality service (actually, any sort of service) at all.
