"The hotel is a part of Wests Leagues Club in Newcastle which has excellent dining and relaxation options. Check in was quick and painless and the car park was also easy to access. Bed was good. Whilst the property is in good condition it is starting to show its age a little bit. My room didn’t have any easily accessible power points which in this day and age is very noticeable when you have items that need charging. I also find the hallways somewhat noisy. You could hear every door slam and person walking past. "

"The room was very small but really well designed and modern. The onsite parking was expensive and a little awkward with not elevator. They did have a baggage drop off area inside the garage on the main level that we discovered afterwards. The staff were great and happy to help with directions etc. "

"Excellent service checking in and room was clean. Only minor issues like the desk lamp having no bulb and second shower head broken but overall great room regardless. Very quiet area and plenty of off street parking with the overflow option into Wests."

"Jacinta was amazing, and the strong ported who carried our luggage upstairs. If you want a lager couple of rooms, and an original large vintage bathroom that takes you back in time with a genuine old bathtub then The grand is for you, three of us stayed to see Cindy Lauper in concert. It exceeded my expectations, warm, friendly and great atmosphere, you cant ask for much more, and the price was so great, I will return again and tell everyone, Absolutely could not fault it."
