"Two of us stayed at Legends after a concert at the Brighton Dome. The staff were friendly, the room was exceptionally clean, and it was a conveniently walkable accommodation for our short trip. "

"If you’re on a budget and still want to be well located for a Brighton getaway this hotel is perfect. As you walk in the reception desk is on your left and a very cozy bar is straight ahead. Very nice and professional staff. I got a sea view double and the staff put me in 419 which is apparently the nicest sea view room. It’s a nice but basic double room with a flatscreen tv, coffee / tea area, wardrobe, desk etc. the floors are a bit uneven but that seems to be the theme in this old hotel. The shower was a rain shower which felt amazing after a cold walk on the beach. All in all it was a very comfortable and pleasurable stay, on my last night we stayed up in the bare top maybe 3am, bar stays open til the last resident goes to bed. Note - checkout is at 11am but if you like a later checkout you can delay your departure for £7.50 per hour, latest checkout is 2pm. I have Amy’s to leave at 1pm so I paid £15. You have to arrange and pay for this before or on the last night of your stay. "

"Very old hotel , so not in pristine condition, but if it were it would lose its character. It’s the oldest hotel in Brighton. Very clean and the staff were lovely, particularly the young lady in the restaurant this morning (15/5). Will definitely be returning "
