Is Schmotel three times worse than travelodge? No it’s a different thing. I was therefore pleased that there were no ghosts or Frankensteins and no poo on the wall or ceiling, and nobody with loud and evil intent anywhere in the seven blessed rooms. "

"The photos look far better than reality! Hall and stairs very scuffed. Room and bedding were clean. Shower was dodgy…the water didn’t drain away, so you had to be very careful not to let it spill over the shower tray. "

"The property was a good standard for the price, the owner Richard was very helpful he took me to my room and explained all the in and out of the room and helpful when I needed a taxi, and did me a very nice breakfast and he even took my case to the car for me, over all could not conplane"

"Pros - place was really near the front, and the pier. Room was a decent size and clean. There was a dyson fan to help with the heat. Eye masks and ear plugs were provided FOC (nice touch), komedia 15 min walk away. Couple of observations - there are a lot of stairs. My partners knee is not ao great and proved to be a little struggle. Fan was not enough at night when njghr temp was around 20C. I had some struggles in that code to get in did not arrive but i spoke to them on day and got it...

"A real shame as the place should be good however without a toilet door, lights that automatically turn on and light up the room in the middle of the night for 20 mins it really does need some work. Maintenance simply has not been maintained…"
