"I didn't receive any instructions for self check in until I called the letting agent. The property is dark and dingy. It smelled damp and was cluttered with unnecessary furniture (large sofa foot stool, 4 armchairs, 4chairs, fridge freezer & non working fridge, for a double room). The decor is very worn with signs of damage. The carpets are stained. The external area was very overgrown with weeds. The TV remote didn't work and there was no TV ariel connected. "We are in our early 60’s and stayed for 4 nights at the end of May 2024. Great central location, out of the door and into the massive park, brilliant for dogs. This is a very old building, quaint inside, nicely updated to fit in well with the property’s age. Bedroom is big and comfy, loved the green leather seat looking out of the window. The bath / shower are a bit of an adventure, looks great but we could not live with it if we were living there all the time. Word of warning, 100% not suitable...
