"Stayed here 6 nights while dropping off my daughter for her semester abroad. The location, staff, facilities are 5 star all the way. Parking(reserved in advance of stay) made life so much easier. Great views and useful small roof terrace. However, layout not great and a bit tired. Wash basin area poor. TV a head injury risk. Yes a historic building has limitations but this room needs some tlc."

The hotel food and drink options are incredible (the best burger I’ve had in my life) and the front desk staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. "This hotel was a lovely place to stay and was convenient for walking to most attractions. It’s only a 20 minute walk from Amsterdam Central and 5 minutes from the nearest tram stop. From the moment we checked in, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel room was a great size for three travellers. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. When they realised it was my birthday, they went above and beyond to make it feel special. We were given complimentary breakfast, a bottle of cava and there were chocolates and balloons put in our room. These were lovely gestures. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if we have another trip to Amsterdam. "

"Way better than I was expecting. The service was great and the room was beautiful. I loved the burlesque theme throughout, it wasn't tacky of tatty. The bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, not many alternatives out for vegans or lactose intolerant but just ask staff. Would definitely stay again. "
