"This is a beautiful old hotel with classic marble and wood decor, which does show its age a bit but in a charming way. The location is close to the station which was handy for an early flight. The rooms was a very good size for Amsterdam, it was well equiped with good coffee, excellent bathroom. The price was very good for this quaility of hotel. Above all the staff were fantastic. I would definately stay here again, and recommend it to others."

"Comfy stay, the hotel is in a convenient location and well furnished. I asked beforehand for a late checkout as was told to phone reception at 7am on the day (not very convenient if the reason you need a late checkout is to sleep!) "I felt like it was a good location, near public transit (which I took advantage of daily). One of the tallest buildings in Amsterdam (it seemed) so I recommend going to the outdoor roof bar on the very top to see the excellent views. You could not sit on the toilet without having to lean a significant amount to not be blocked by the sink next to you. "The IBIS budget is a clean and nice enough hotel for the money. It's nearest tram stop is Kronenberg. It's about 30-40 mins into the centre. We paid for breakfast which was continental and very nice. Staff were super friendly and helpful. It was clean.
