"I'd reserved a stay at the Hotel Litli Geysir but evidently got upgraded to the Hotel Geysir for my stay. Wow, what an upgrade. One of the most elegant and beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. I would have been happy sleeping in the lobby! Wonderful breakfast with anything you could want, and across the street from the geysers, so you could take a morning stroll before all the tour buses arrived. They even offer a wake-up call in case there's a northern lghts display during the night! A++"

I really liked the service they offer, if you would like to see the northern lights, the staff will go knock on your door to let you know so you go outiside. That is a plus I did not get on any other hotel I stayed during my trip in Iceland."
