"The host was lovely and very welcoming. Breakfast was very nice. Room was lovely. The only improvement I would say is that it would have been nice to have hand soap and a hand towel in the en suite. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again. There is a car park across the road and the hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the beach front so it’s in a great location "

"Nice stay at the miramar for a budget hotel. Got everything you could want. Everything about this place was good. Yes it’s tired looking and could do with more maintenance, but this is why you pay what you do. I would definitely stay here again. But please buy some air fresheners, the smell of dogs if so over powering. I personally think a good carpet clean and nice smellies in the hallways could do the trick. "

"Location is great being just a few minutes walk to the Winter Gardens and town centre shopping. Owners were pleasant and very receptive. The room (No, 4) was generally quite cramped; tea, coffee & biscuits were nice; the sprung mattress was tired and noisy; couldn't watch TV in bed due to position of the TV; toilets were very cramped (hardly room to sit on toilet). Breakfast was OK, with enough to eat. A two-night stay was probably enough for us. Would we come back? Yes but we'd probably insist...
