"Stayed here for 1 night in November. First impressions very good. Check in quick. We had a family room overlooking the sea, with the added bonus of a small portion of the Blackpool illuminations were viewable from our room. There is some free parking on the street just outside the front of the hotel, not much but we were lucky to get a spot, otherwise it’s £17:50 per day in the hotel car park. "Most staff were friendly although the receptionist on shift Sat morning found it hard to speak in a friendly manner. She made it hard for the guests who were asking questions. We were sitting in reception for an hour waiting for the room as it was really busy in the bar due to the match so watched a few guests asking for advice etc - I thought she was very lucky that most of the guests didn’t react to her tone etc. "
