"We loved the property although the fireplace in the basement was acting weird with shutting off right away but continuing to try to ignite when saying flame was off which scared us a bit. And the blinds i beleive the batteries were dead it would only go up an inch at a time so took 4 to 5 minutes to get it up 60 percent of the window at which point it would go back down on its own. Other then those 2 things the property was great. Kids loved it with the playroom and the lovesac "

The location is fantastic and even though the place is close to the road, it doesn’t feel that way with the river so close. A few pieces of feedback: a real sponge would’ve been nice to do dishes (we were left with only a magic eraser), and the two top bunks need new slats which would make the beds much more comfortable. "The property description was acccurate and the house is nicely set up. A little confusing on directions to get there because so many of the streets, courts and lanes have the same name. The location is nice as you aren't far from anything you want to do; shop, eat, wine tasting or head to The Dalles and hit the Discovery center and a few antique shops. Would stay again as plenty of room to relax and with our dog a nice fenced backyard."

"We loved our stay in Underwood! The house was super clean, kid friendly, and the kitchen was very well stocked! The kids enjoyed playing games from the game closet and sledding in the yard. The property is very private, but conveniently located just a few minutes from White Salmon and Hood River. The owners are communicative and accommodating. Absolutely recommend this home for a family getaway! We visit this area often and will definitely be staying here again!"
