"Had a tremendous time, host was very helpful as was everyone around town. It was a great trip. The weather wasn’t great but it was an anomaly that just happened to happen, the host accommodated and offered any assistance we needed. 10/10 would recommend. "The casita was wonderful for our family. The beds were comfortable and the kitchenette allowed us to eat some meals there. The only thing lacking was the coffee. The pictures show a Keurig coffee maker, so I came prepared with coffee pods, but there actually was not a Keurig. There was a small coffee maker, but there were no filters for it. I would've brought filters and coffee for it if I'd known. We were able to buy the tiny filters that fit it and some ground coffee at the grocery store. We...

"We came for 5 nights to celebrate a birthday and had everything we needed. We adventured out each day to a different nearby site or town. The bed is very comfortable—sheets, comforter and pillows. Great shower and soaps and plenty of towels. We used the TV and front porch and didn’t even need the AC at night much. No issues whatsoever. Thank you! "

"The Desert Quail Oasis was just that... a great spot to relax after hiking and exploring in Big Bend National Park. We loved sitting on the porch watching a lightening storm in the distance as well as the lovely mountains all around. After a much needed rain, it was fun to see a covey of desert quail running around the property! The place was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Our only complaint is that the water doesn't smell very good. Water is such an issue in this desert environment....

"Enjoyed our stay early in the week (Tuesday -Thursday) and it was perfect space for me and two teenagers. It was great to come back to the tiny house to unwind after a long day of exploring West Texas. And Carla was responsive to any questions and even came to help us out when we had put the code in backwards to open the door and we started having issues to get it to unlock. She quickly replied to us and was there in a jiffy to help us with the door one evening. "

"We stayed here while exploring Big Bend Nat. Park. Distance to park and to Study Butte/Terlingua was an easy trip. The house was clean and well stocked. I would recommend bringing a robe for the outdoor shower. We enjoyed our stay! "

"We really enjoyed our spring break excursion to Alpine. The cabin was great. The beds were comfy. We loved how the house set elevated on its own scenic hill. Offered a lot of privacy, yet also an in town vibe, too. Would recommend."

"House was an absolute pleasure and I would definitely stay here again. It is exactly what was needed for 5 adults and 2 kids spending a week. The only downer to the stay is we got hit by one of the worst dust storms I'd ever seen (and I'm originally from ELP) so the backyard ended up covered by dust 2nd day in. And since we were not left with any effective way to clean it, we were never able to enjoy the beautiful amenity. "

"We had never heard of Marfa, TX but my son encouraged us to visit as we were passing through west Texas. It was a little out of our way but we are so glad we did. Our stay at El Cosmico was the icing on the cake. We stayed in a yurt for the first time which was awesome but the entire property is just so fun. We had read about glamping but never experienced it. I highly recommend visiting both Marfa and El Cosmico. "

"This property was very deceptive. The outside is a little rough around the edges with some shaggy landscaping and weathered exterior. That all went away when we opened the door to our room. The monster sized tv with all kinds of channels available, beautiful new flooring, and awesome night stands with outlets and hookups for devices and charging. There was a slight issue with chords not being plugged into outlets that needs to be addressed. The breakfast area was small but clean and well...
