"We were greeted at the counter by a woman who said she doesn't even work at the hotel, and then we were told she couldn't accept our online reservation. The hotel owner refused to give us a room unless we paid by the day, so he could get the non-discounted pay. We decided to leave and take our chances on finding a hotel last minute - during the peak of scalloping season and the weekend before the 4th of July. "Close to surrounding cities for day trips. Such as Crystal River, Homassa, Cedar Key and many more. The only down fall is that the pool took 2 days to heat up. We also had to maintain water level. The hosts were in direct communication with us beingvery helpful. They plan to fix this issue. The house is private in good location.neighbirhood. neighborhood."
