"The property was clean and well stocked. The mountain views from the porch and interior (including the shower!) were great. The host was very responsive and accommodating. It is quite a walk from the downtown and train station, but nice and quiet. Highly recommended!"

"Best apartment in the area! Stunning views surrounded by amazing waterfalls, breathtaking mountains and gorgeous goats. Apartment was very spacious, clean, had some thoughtful touches and had all the things you need. It looks better when you are there. Host was attentive, friendly and very helpful. We had a slight issue with the key safe but it was resolved in speedy time. Definitely would recommend. 5* slight"

"Communication with the property manager was very timely and the check in instructions were easy to follow and allowed easy entry when we arrived late in the evening. The managers made a point to meet with us in person the next day to answer any questions. The location is PERFECT, right by the trains and gondolas. The home was clean and well furnished with everything we needed. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to stay in Grindelwald!!!"

"The view from our balcony was amazing! Having a kitchen and laundry facilities was a great advantage to being able to stay on budget and enjoy relaxing while traveling. Once we found the best way to get to the town and station, the location was perfect.. We would definitely recommend it and would love to get back!"

"tight staircase, difficult to carry luggages up to the room, no elevator, common bathroom and toilet shared by 6 rooms, garbage can in the kitchen overflow, was not collected in the 2 days we were there. "

"Great accommodation for families (we were 3 adults and 3 teenagers) -- location is a short walk / bus ride to Grindelwald, home is modern, clean and well-equipped, and views from the patio are amazing! Highly recommend!"

"Don't be daunted with the fact that there isnt a grocery store or ATM in Gimmelwald! There are 2 bars across the street with pizza and drinks. A quick cable car to Murren for a Food Co-op or cable and bus to Lauterbrunnen for another Co-op which both have all you need is easy!The views, the peaceful quiet is amazing! All one hears are the bells of goats/cows. Love Love this place! comfortabnle, and very clean! Very attentive, manager onsite when we arrived! Highly recommend! "

"We went to Jungfraojoch for the day and stayed overnight. The apartment was clean with good amenities. Also the benefit of a store downstairs and plenty of things within walking distance. Check in was easy and the underground parking secure. Guy was very helpful in communication with all our needs."

"We spent 10 wonderful days staying at Chalet Barbara. The chalet is very clean and comfortable with everything you could need for your stay. The stunning views are worth the walk up the steep hill and the hosts who live upstairs were friendly and helpful taking us to and from the station at the beginning and end of our stay so we didn’t have to struggle with luggage. "Great property for accessing all the activities we wanted to do - walking, hiking, cable cars, riding, free buses stop outside. Local restaurants and bars are very good. Easy walk form Montana to Crans. Spectacular scenic view from the balcony. useful information given by the host, re arrival and check in information. Also info on The Explorer Card available to visitors - great for the cable cars. Hope we can visit again! "

"Wonderful property. The building is over 200 years old but completely remodeled with all the modern amenities you would need. We traveled with my family (2 adults + 2 kids) and my parents. The location was easily accessible to transportation and walkable to the main city park. Very clean and well stocked which is always appreciated. The one downside was the hot tub was broken but that is no one’s fault and we still enjoyed the sauna. The owners were especially kind. Would stay here again if ever...

"Cannot say enough good things, we loved our stay at this property. The balcony was amazing and the ability to open windows was great. There was a drying rack on the balcony that I could use to air dry some clothes that I hand washed as well. The AC cooled the apartment well after some time to catch up. We were trying to keep the windows open and it got a bit warm in the apartment which is why the AC needed some time to catch up. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were a bit flat. The water...

"From booking to arriving and then leaving the process was very easy. The chalet itself is stunning, photos I saw prior to arriving did not do the property justice. This is without a doubt the best property we have booked in Switzerland. Lauterbrunnen is stunning and has numerous restaurants and shops. Parking in town can be difficult, but there is a path across from the chalet that is a lovely cycle into town. I will book this again next year. "
