"This was our second trip to this property and it was still great. Situated on the mountainside , in a small quiet cluster of properties, its only 5-10 minute drive to 2 gondolas accessing the ski slopes. The skiing was great. "The house and property exceeded our expectations. The Swiss look and feel was perfect. We were constantly amazed with the views. And the sound of the nearby T falls were awesome. We wish the Falls were open for a hike but they were closed for the winter season. The house was 5 minute walk to the bus station. Check with locals if the bus fare is free during non peak season. "Secluded property on the edge of town. Bus stop is a 5 minute walk from the house or a 30 minute walk into Grindelwald. Kitchen is well stocked. Plenty of comforts of home make this a beautiful and welcome retreat. There are a lot of steps to gain access to the property so keep that in mind for all members of your party. "

"Although this rental was not for myself, I arranged this stay for friends of ours. Communication with the host was very easy and always fast with a very helpful tone. The family staying there comprised all ages. Whilst the chalet is certainly of a high standard, it was not suitable for families with younger kids. "We stayed here to visit friends who live in zweisimmen. The house is a 10 min walk to trains or the ski hill. We loved the skiing. My wife who doesn’t ski made day trips by train to nearby towns. We thought the price was fair. The only minor down side is the step access, 100 up or 120 down. We especially loved a fire at night. Zwieimmen is a jewel of a ski town."
