"The Sierra Motel was exceptionally clean, the bed was comfy, and dishes were provided to use in the small kitchenette in our room. The staff was very friendly and they made the check in process sooo smooth. The room felt updated, the AC worked great, and you can tell the property is well taken care of. Highly recommend staying at the Sierra Motel!! "

"DO NOT STAY HERE ON A MONDAY The motel unit was fantastic and cozy. Had 3 single bed in the upstairs and a queen down stairs. Was nice and tidy. However the town really disappointed us. On mondays apparently everything is closed. We got in at 8 and there was no food establishment open so we had to skip dinner. But the room nonetheless was great! So defiantly stay here but just not on a Monday. "

"The kitchen was perfectly equipped and clean with a beautiful view of the lake. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable and the linens and pillows were excellent quality. The washrooms were bright and clean and the staff were super helpful and friendly."

"A great foundation for the nearby Mount Cook area as well as adjacent to the Pelennor Fields battle scene from LOTR The Return of the King. Delicious breakfast, easy parking, very clean, lovely area and spacious extremely comfortable rooms. Six stars!"
