"The Spa Hotel is spacious and has very nice restrained decor. Our room, booked for a 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration was very large and very comfortable. It was warm and WiFi worked ok though the signal was a little weak in our part of the hotel. We were able to log into our netflix account using the large TV and it worked very well. "Booked us into room 14 which was cold. Spoke to reception who informed me that there was no heating in this room. Told them that we could not shower bathroom freezing and to sleep would be too cold. Very good and we got transferred to room 109 which was lovely but found out cold tap Didn’t work. No a hassle for us and room wax warm. Breakfast great and staff are friendly and helpful"

"The pub is a lovely Olde World traditional English pub, with lovely food and a real homely atmosphere. I had pictured log fires and sofas, but it is more geared towards eating, with wooden tables and chairs (so my visions of relaxing with a book were sadly unfulfilled!) We visited on a Saturday and sat in the Dog loft for lunch, the small bites were incredibly filling, which kind of ruined our dinner plans! We were still stuffed hours later... Dinner was delicious, compliments to the chef...
