"Came with my mother in law for family days. My daughter is at Ithaca College. We had a great stay even though my daughter & I both had colds. The thoughtfulness of our host made our stay out of this world! We were able to make a homemade dinner for my daughter & a classmate. It's close enough to town but far enough to feel peaceful. "We stayed one night to visit our son at Cornell, and for my 11 year-old daughter's lacrosse tournament at Ithaca HS. My elderly parents came with us. The location was beautiful and only 6 miles from downtown Ithaca. Much more cost-effective than a hotel, very clean and also just minutes from Taughannock Falls for a quick visit. Perfect! Highly recommend!"

"The stay was great! We were dropping our son off at Ithaca college and my brother came as well. There was plenty of room for all of us to be independent and comfortable. The place was so clean, it seemed like we were the first to ever stay there. The coffee shop on-site was also great! We had everything we needed to make a few meals there as well. "

While you’re in the area, be sure to visit Watkins Glen State Park and the Taughannock Falls overlook for incredible views. And don’t miss out on Gimme Coffee. The only thing I’d suggest is an upgrade to the pillows for added comfort."

"We stayed during the off season (April) and loved the location of this place to some of our favorite wineries! It's also a quick trip into Watkins Glen. The place itself was quirky with a fully stocked kitchen and clean bathroom. We saw the owners a few times and they are incredibly friendly and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. Other reviews complained about the beds but we didn't mind them at all. The living space was perfect for our two kids to play."

"Beautiful view. Hard to overstate how gorgeous it is. Host provides a lot of helpful mod-cons that we didn't expect. Only major issue is ticks! If you bring a pet, do not let it stray from stone driveways and make sure it's up to date on preventive meds. Our (always leashed) dog must have brushed some high grass on walking trails on property and had more ticks on her than I have ever seen at once. "
