"The Vurpillat hotel is quaint, vintage, and charming – an immediate attraction for me. I enjoy visiting historical places and buildings. Although it has been modernized for daily comfort it still maintains its original 1920s style and character. I have stayed at many hotels but The Vurpillat is my favorite by far – I wake up and slumber to the sounds of crashing waves and amazing views of the beach and sunsets. Throughout the day, people are on the strand exercising. Jay, the owner, makes sure that his staff is efficient, attentive, genuinely friendly, caring, and accommodating as demonstrated by Nicole, Derick, and Juana. He has created a pleasant ambiance that is welcoming, comfortable, and relaxing. Since mid 2024, I have been coming back on a monthly basis, always feeling valued by Jay and his staff. The hotel has become my home away from home. I have met such awesome people! What a great hotel to rest, refresh, and renew! "

"One of my favorite places the stay. The staff are awesome, the rooms are incredible. They have bathtubs on the balcony! Only dislike is they play Coldplay music in the lobby/hallways. 😜 This place is the best hotel in the area and even better if you’re a Coldplay fan. "
