"Where do I even begin?! I’ve stayed at the Marmara pera 3 times in the last 5 weeks and I’ve had an exceptional experience. We’ve had the pleasure of meeting Gorkem the gentleman that works at the front desk and he truly treated us like royalty! In fact, they all have. "Near tourist attractions (easy to walk everywhere). Safe area. Tram about 100 meters from hotel if needed and each trip about 20cents AUS. Staff at desk helpful for all booking and advise. Only thing to note is the pool was very cold. Breakfast great selection and worth paying. Bottled water every day in room and plenty in foyer to take on outings. Fabulous stay. Locals also very friendly and helpfully with directions while out of hotel. Highly recommended coming to Istanbul for a holiday. "
