The owner and property manager were wonderful. A great home base to explore the island from! We would love to stay again someday!"

"This was a great property. It was clean and Carmen made sure we felt welcome. The pools were great and the kids played in them everyday. Carmen even had a basketball so we could play on the courts. The condo is very well stocked, she even had sandwich bags, a cooler and chairs to take on our many beach outings. Plenty of towels, kitchenware, beach toys and anything else you could think of. "Check in and out procedure very "clunky"-not easy. Difficult to find office and parking. Was told to park in a certain lot for check-in and offloading bags. Could not get past that parking lot gate. The whole area is confusing to someone not familiar with Playa del Mar. Did enjoy the stay and the pool. Was not told that I needed to bring back towel cards or I would be charged for towels-had to find out from others. Too much guesswork/rules etc."

"We had such a great time at Carlos' property in Humacao. Palmas del Mar is a great location with many beaches, pools, shops and restaurants within the community, as well as lots of additional amenities within Humacao proper. The property that we had originally booked had a maintenance issue shortly before our stay, so Carlos moved us to another of his properties, in Mare Sereno, which was absolutely gorgeous. "Condo had all the accomidations and amenities. Stayed in Puerto Rico many times , historically in the tourist areas. This time decided to stay in an area unfamiliar with. Host was very responsive to questions, offering recommendations for travel experiences and local food establishments. Traveled with family, which consisted of wife and two teenage boys. Great cultural experience, along with some of the nicest beaches, apparently not known by many tourist.Rain forest close by if you enjoy...

"This property was gorgeous!! Beautifully decorated. Host added so many personal touches to elevate our stay. Host communicated throughout booking giving a clear description of the condo and how to get in. The location was right in the middle of everything. No car needed to explore the area but the available parking space is a wonderful option. Proximity to the beach was less than 2 minutes (beach towels, chair, cooler and umbrella avail).
