"This was my second stay at this hotel and Im just as happy as the first time. Staff are very helpful and welcoming. Safety is something big for me and they fulfilled this. Youre not able to access any of the floors unless you have a pass key that allows you to close the doors for the elevator. Rooms are very clean and the showers are nice and hot ! Youre able to dine on site and food/drinks are delicious. The beach is safe for both kids and adults. They have beach chairs, umbrellas, towels available and if you want to have a drink or something to snack they offer services on the beach while the tab can be added to your room. Parking garage is also on site and very well lit! Would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone. "

"The Royal Sonesta was very clean, well kept and had friendly staff, especially at the front desk. The pool area is nice and there is lounge and umbrella service on the beach, which we enjoyed more than the pool area. The dining options are good, even delivery to the beach. The outdoor bar by the lobby is very enjoyable with the fire pit. The El San Juan Hotel is right next door and there are many options there for eating and dancing otherwise we did not walk anywhere else except a few blocks to the drugstore (great place to get own supply of beer and alcohol). The big surprise for us was how very expensive Ubers were. Our ride from the airport on a Monday at 11am was $40 because of a $24 surcharge for busy time. A ride to Old San Juan, one way, over $25. Apparently taxis aren’t much cheaper. "

"Very friendly staff. Rooms were clean and well maintained. The hotel is very close to the beach with chairs and umbrellas available for guests. Two beautiful pools with ocean views; one an amazing rooftop terrace and the other with a restaurant and bar. The area felt very safe and had lots of restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again! Gigi at Komu restaurant was especially kind and welcoming. She greeted us each morning with a smile. She remembered our coffee preferences and asked about our stay/ our trip."

"This is one of my favorite places to stay when coming to Puerto Rico, lots of amenities and within walking distance to the beach. Showers could have been cleaner but for a few nights, it wasnt bad. I would stay here again. "
