"Bahia Rica Was an oasis in Paquera. We stayed for one night and did the bioluminescent tour and Isla Tortuga. The guest house was a rustic sanctuary where you feel one with nature. Lots of monkeys, and beautiful birdwatching. 253 steps down to a secluded beach where we had breakfast and we’re given various choices of cuisine. Isla Tortuga was awesome with Juan as a guide. "The staff was incredibly welcoming and hospitable. I have never been greeted with such open arms and taken care of after all the staff was done for the evening. They came out and cooked me and my two colleagues and wonderful meal and delighted us with stories and suggestions for activities. A must stay if coming to the area!"

"We stayed two nights and I wish we had booked more time there. Wildlife Paradise is at the end of a 2-km rough road east and uphill from the San Luis school, but it is well worth the drive. You don't need 4-wheel drive but you do need a short wheel-base 2-wd. This property is more like a two-room bed and breakfast.
