"Great stay in a lovely house. Large, spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. Feels like a cared-for home. Plenty of different living spaces (inside and outside). Large and very well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Glorious views from the house and colourful garden (in summer). Lots of walks from the back door or a short drive away. Good local shop and pub. Very responsive host. Nice welcome pack. Would love to go back."

"Pleasant accommodation close to university, with cooking facilities Accommodation was clean , warm and had everything we needed for our stay. Only issue is no on site parking but parking in nearby streets is possible (payable and maximum 5 hours) with a larger NCP car park within 5 minutes walk Would stay there again and would recommend for a short stay. "

"Food at the inn was superb Pork loin and sauce the best I’ve ever had Children’s meals a really good size and very tasty Accommodation was clean and comfortable Would stay again and recommend to friends "

Splendid Hotel

"It was absolutely marvellous! The housekeeping ladies were so lovely and helpful, which really made our stay extra special. Definitely worth the 4-hour journey!"
