"Paolo’s property was perfect for me and my family. It is clean, spacious and very well presented. It is a perfect location for exploring the Garfagnana region and close to plenty of local amenities. "We rented all three houses for 12 people, which worked very well. The grounds and the area are typically Tuscan, very charming and beautiful. The propertymanager is very helpful and available. The poolarea is particularly nice and the teenagers spent all day there :-) Nearby you’ll find Lucca, winetasting, hiking and many other activities. Highly recommendable."

"It's a long drive up winding hills, but once you arrive in Sassi, you can forget about all your worries, sit back and relax. The main farmhouse and the cottage are both well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The pool was a godsend on especially hot days, especially for the children, who spent hours playing Marco Polo and other water games well into the evening. Our host was extremely helpful and was a walking encyclopedia of information about the surrounding areas, too....

"The house was very clean, comfortable and spacious and we never tired of the superlative views across the valley. Diego and his dad are lovely and always available when needed. If I was to suggest an improvement, it would be a little more kitchen equipment - there was no sharp knife for cooking, no collander, few wine glasses and an oven tray that didn’t fit the oven. A small point that did not detract from a great week in a stand out property. Highly recommended!"

"It was our first trip to Italy, and this was the perfect family dwelling. The pictures don't begin to capture the breathtaking Dolomites or the outstanding accommodations! The kitchen is a gem! So convenient and easy to cook. We had a chef come in to fix dinner on our last day, and he loved the kitchen, too. We took walks/hikes on the surrounding trails, and relaxed by the gorgeous pool which, by the way, has beautiful night lighting!! The owner fixed pizza in the outdoor pizza oven one evening,...
