"A stunning place! The bar/restaurant and pool area are truly breathtaking and have been done to a very high standard. The staff were all fantastic and the food was generally good. "Superb property up on the Uvita mountains. As long as you have a 4x4, getting there is a fun ride. Staff was great and the spa facilities are really nice. "Our villa was located at the front of the property and there is 24/7 noisy heaven truck traffic on the road not twenty yards away. Also the signs on the main road are tiny and easy to miss. Jose, the manager, was wonderfully accomodating and made up for any other deficits with his helpfulness."

"We LOVED Villas Rios Mar on the same level with Banana Azul at Puerto Viejo! We stayed at 5 places in Costa Rica and they were our favorites. The grounds were beautiful.
