"Hotel Durant is lovely. Brian at the desk was knowledgeable and friendly. The continental breakfast included gluten free granola, hard boiled eggs, yogurt juice and coffee. No elevator so be ready to schlep to your room. Short walk to the main gondola at Aspen. Room was large, bed comfortable and shower had great pressure and hot water. Perfect for skiing! "

"The rooms were really old and had a run down feeling. The rugs were visibly dirty, the towels were cleaned, but had stains, and there was no clear statement (that I saw) that there is no elevator. The fireplace suites are not worth the extra cost-- the couches are old and discolored, and the fireplace was a stove- no instructions on how to use, etc. I was disappointed."

"The hotel was centrally located to town. On-site parking was a plus. There were two couples, and we rented a two bedroom. The space was perfect, and we enjoyed the nice sunny balcony too. "
