"Great hotel. Nice breakfast, Shuttles to the ski areas. Big rooms. The only negative was the additional “resort fee” of over $100 per day!!! Extreme. "

"The property is right in the heart of Aspen. I block to the gondola, great shopping, easy walk to several good restaurants. Had a locker to store your skis, a working fireplace and furnished kitchen, Right across the street from a grocery store. "

"The rooms were really old and had a run down feeling. The rugs were visibly dirty, the towels were cleaned, but had stains, and there was no clear statement (that I saw) that there is no elevator. The fireplace suites are not worth the extra cost-- the couches are old and discolored, and the fireplace was a stove- no instructions on how to use, etc. I was disappointed."

"Any room facing the main street will be loud in the evenings on the weekends as the hotel is next to belly-up and the line forms right next to the hotel entrance. If you’re a light sleeper, probably not where you want to be. However, the views from the top floors are fantastic. Pick your poison. Other than that, great spot and highly recommend. "

"The staff were great. very helpful and nice. The breakfast and simple happy hour offerings were thoughtful as well. My only complaint....the room was extremely small, i think it was less than 100 sq. ft, including the bathroom. We did not even have space for our suitcases/ski gear. They did provide storage for our skis but we were stepping all over our bags. I do think we had an especially small room compared to others. We did not use our car once, walked to dinner, shows and skiing. "
