"We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Cabaca house, QSF! From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Eduardo we felt welcome and comfortable. A tour of the grounds to meet his animal and bird friends was very memorable. What a menagerie of pets they have! We later spent some time getting to know the goats lambs and ostriches while relaxing by the pool. "The accommodations were comfortable, clean and very modern. There was an induction heated stove, a convection oven & a microwave. It made warming up and making our food sooo easy. Having the animals nearby was fun! Eduardo was a great host. Good location for exploring Alentejo. "

"Our family had a great stay at this spacious home. There are 2 living areas and a large pool area as well that our teenagers enjoyed spreading out in after a long trip. The location is great place to visit the nearby towns of Montemor -o-novo and Évora. The countryside is so beautiful here. We were so happy to stay in this beautifully renovated property. "When we booked, I wasn’t sure what I’d find, though I was up for the adventure of Agro Tourism. The location is great as a safe base from which to explore Evora and the surrounding area. And there is so much to see and explore - too much to go into here! "The hosts Miguel and Sandra were so sweet and accommodating and thoughtful to our every need. The rooms and the house is so luxurious but still with the comfy Alentejo vibe. Breakfast was amazing and varied with the hosts having breakfast with us (due to our invitation) and telling us local stories and cultures. Couldn't have been better. Highly recommended"

"We had a wonderful quiet time at the 'Herdade' (cattle farm) close to Montemor-o-Novo. It is somewhat remote, but guarantees a quiet, authentic, but comfortable stay at the Portugese countryside. Very hospitable hosts give many tips about the environment."

"Might be hard to find for some but worth the effort. Friendly hosts open their home and farm to you. Lots of space. The pool is bigger and better than many 5 star resorts.It's a rough road for the last few k's. It's a unique and special place to stay."
