"So pleased we booked this hotel. You don’t have to be a tennis player to enjoy it! Hotel Club Olivi is set just outside of Malcesine so is not so frantically busy as the other central hotels and has gardens to walk around and enjoy. Having seen a lot of the other towns around Malcesine on the north east of the lake this town was the nicest with narrow cobbled streets, lots of interesting shops, a small port and plenty of restaurants . The castle is an added bonus and the scenery quite spectacular. A lot of the other hotels in other towns along this area of the lake are set right on the main road that runs alongside the lake so if you want to sunbath or swim you have to do it alongside a busy road. The area where the hotel is the main road is higher than the lakeside promenade (which runs along most of the lake on this side suitable for walking and cycling.) As the promenade is below the road at this point it’s more private and quiet with two wonderful restaurants overlooking the lake edge minutes from the hotel. To walk into Malcesine from the hotel will take you 30 minutes along this promenade but the views are so beautiful it’s a pleasure to walk. Alternatively you can do it safely and a lot quicker on the bikes available to hire from the hotel at just 7 Euro a day. The hotel is family run and everyone was exceptionally lovely and helpful. Breakfast was great with a great choice. We absolutely loved it and will definitely return. "

"What a perfect location to spend a few days by the lake Garda. First off: if you arrive by var, there is an entire gated area belonging to the hotel where you can park your car in the shade of olive tree (most hotels in this area only offer right spots which are difficult to get in and out). Our balcony overlooking the lake was breathtaking and waking up next morning to a rich breakfast buffet got us going for a day of exploring..... only to relax later on by the beautiful hotel pool. We highly recommend this hotel!"

"The place was perfect for our stay. There was plenty of room for our family of five. The place was really well kitted out and we had everything we really needed. The pool was a major bonus for us and ideal for the kids to play in the 30+deg. heat. Garage was great and actually very easy to access even with quite a big car (Volvo V90).Jacopi and family were incredibly helpful and kind. We would recommend highly."

"The hotel Drago is an excellent hotel in a wonderful location. My special thanks go out to Giovanni the groundskeeper. He keeps everything immaculate and is always there to give someone a hand. He recognized us from last year, that was also a nice experience."

"We had an amazing five days at Villa Isabella after a busy time in Firenze and Pisa. The location is superb, literally on the lakefront. Check in was easy and the underground parking a bonus - though as others have said - the spaces are VERY tight for anything above a mini or fiat 500. We had an Executive Room and breakfast Views of the lake were amazing and decent shower and balcony. Internet not great in that area of the hotel but it was better to stay in the real world and look at what was on our doorstep. The breakfast was great - plenty of choice and good quality items and all the staff interactions were friendly Big shout out to our room cleaner who did a brilliant job each day. Totally recommend this place and a lake view room. We would happily stay again "

"Everything about this rental was superb!!!! Everyone in our party commented that they could live in that apartment forever. I messed up the “dropped pin” for the location. After several attempts, Tully came and met me about two minutes down the road and helped us get there. It was a terrific experience. Will always stay there on trips back to Lake Garda."
