Not only was the price shown on Expedia wrong by $40, the place was disgusting and unsafe.
I booked a room on Expedia for $85 per night, and then when i went to check out, it showed and additional $5.95 taxes, totaling $90.95.
Then I got an email summary from the hotel saying that there was an additional $35 cleaning fee. And my reservation was for only 1 adult. When I complained, they fixed my reservation to be for 3 adults and 1 child, as I had put in Expedia, but they would not take off the $35 fee. I was upset, but I didn't have much choice to rebook so close to time to travel, and I didn't have cell service in Puerto Rico, so I decided to suck it up and went with it.
When I got there late in the night, the person who showed us around was under the influence of something and the place itself was terrible. There were holes in the walls with open outlets sticking out, a rusted out refrigerator that did not cool at all, and 3-pronged appliances plugged into 2 prong extension cords. I literally got a shock when I tried to plug in the coffee maker and the extension cord sizzled and popped and made the microwave stop working. One of the beds had a stain that looked like blood on the bedding, and the back balcony had a hole in it that literally had an open drop off into a very sharp rocky coast. I had my child with me and it was absolutely NOT a safe space for us stay. I'm pretty sure this is someone's extra apt beside their house. We got out of there in a hurry
