"Believe the photos: The house is bright and pretty, the terrace and beach are stellar! Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was big and stocked with everything you could think of, including a 3-gallon drinks dispenser perfect for mojitos. We picked this for our son’s beach wedding; the bride’s family booked a larger house just one door away. Most of the time we had the huge beach to ourselves. Note: sand fleas and noseeums were really bad while we were there, so use the spray they provide every time you sit outside! Glad there was a washer & dryer but other places we’ve stayed included it as a perk. New gastrobar across the street has great food, especially tres leches cake. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Garden Relaxation Room. We were wondering about the majority of the spaces being outdoors, but it was amazing. We lived in the pool and hot tub.A couple of things of note; Google Maps took us to a house down the road. Get a picture of the outside of the house ahead of time so you can better identify it. The other thing we weren't aware of was the road noise. Things quiet down after 10 p.m. but can be loud until then. It starts back up around 7 a.m.There are plenty of great places to eat just down the road and we had some groceries delivered ahead of our stay. There's no oven or BBQ, just a stove top and microwave. The fridge is dorm sized so keep that in mind when ordering groceries.We had a wonderful vacation and will definitely visit again!"

"My husband and I travelled with my parents to spend a long weekend at Rose Nest in January. We were looking for a beautiful peaceful warm weather escape, and this absolutely nailed it. The property and view from the house are wonderful. The house and pool were very clean. The bedrooms each have individual AC units so sleeping is very comfortable. With the back and front doors to the house open, you get a decent cross breeze in the living space. The kitchen was well appointed - we had everything that we needed to cook and fully enjoy the home. The beach in front of the house is expansive and pretty private. Although the surf was too high outside the house to swim, there is a protected cove about a half mile walk down the beach with flat and crystal clear water that made for a great swimming spot. The village of Jarealito is tiny and quiet but has a small bakery/market, sandwich shop, and small restaurant within just a few minutes walk of the house. The neighborhood felt very safe. Within a few minutes driving from the house, there are more options for restaurants (many right on the water for incredible views while you dine). Aside from visiting local beaches and restaurants, there isn’t necessarily a lot “to do”, but if you’re in the market for a relaxing beach getaway, this is it. Note: communication from property manager didn’t come til day of check-in, but arrival and departure were smooth. The listing has a washer/dryer, but it costs extra to use it. "

"The house is located across the street from a great beach and there are places to eat within a short walk. The town of Arecibo is a short drive away and we shopped for groceries and fun gifts. The prices were really low compared to mainland US, although sit-down restaurants are as expensive as on the mainland. Our party of 9, including 2 children, found the house to be perfect. There was space to spread out and the swimming pool was a big attraction. A cozy nook outside the front door faces the beach and was a popular spot for reading and listening to the waves crash.On the downside, the internet router was not working and we did not complain to the host about it since we had brought a starlink with us. The kitchen pans and dishes are minimal, we could have used a few more drinking glasses. Bathrooms were nicely tiled, but hot water ran out after one shower. Neighbor's dogs are loud barkers, which isn't the host's fault. The power was out island-wide during our stay - for 3 days. This made our stay a little different from most, although so many people have generators that this must happen frequently in Puerto Rico. "

"We stay here almost every time we're in PR. We don't like fancy and its perfect for us. We prefer small and friendly. The owner Angel is very kind and will do anything to help you if needed. We've stayed probably 6-8 ish times now and will continue coming here. Its away from the hustle of bigger cities but still a beautiful beach and view. "

"Great communication with host. The house does need some upkeep. Not enough plates for our party of 9 to eat dinner. 2 of the oven burners did not work. The A/C did not work in one of the bedrooms. Lack of hot water in one bathroom and the kitchen. One of the pool tiles was loose and when my son stepped on it he fell into the deep end of the pool. House has good bones, but needs a lot of upkeep. The gate to the beach is barely holding on. "
