"Booked accommodation here for a work trip in Vancouver in November. Arrived at the airport where I was supposed to have a shuttle pickup, after trying to call the hotel multiple times since the shuttle wasn't at the airport and then texting the contact number that I was Ubering to the hotel since there was no shuttle and I can't get a hold of anyone, I was texted back that they had a "major issue at their site and were forced to close for a few days, there is no one at the location so do not go...

"Staying with Tanya was such a breeze. She was incredibly kind and accommodating, allowing us to drop off our bags early in the morning before the room was available. Apparently there was also an issue with the site double booking for the night...but she found space for us still and we are so grateful. The location was easy for uber drivers to find, which is also a big pro. It's a bit far from downtown Vancouver, but it's close to the airport which was a big draw for us since we had a super early...

"My wife and I were made very welcome by Joanne. Nothing was too much trouble. Always happy to give advice to where to go and how to get about. Room was very comfortable and spacious. Need to be aware to options for eating out in the area are a bit limited so grab something while you are out and about. There is a kitchen and sitting room available for guests but not there is no oven in the kitchen. We bought a pizza to cook and Joanne was so kind as to cook it in our kitchen for us. Would...

"Stayed in the Espresso suite, which is only room with private bath. Otherwise Hostel environment, but very clean, quiet, friendly and accommodating. Felt comfortable, safe and welcome, even with my teenage son. Very nice people! Pool is cold but was perfect for a dip after a day at Playland. Room was hot by afternoon when we got back but opened windows and curtains and was great at night! Stayed 4 nights and would definitely return! "
