"Campo Azul was incredibly beautiful. The views across rolling hills to the ocean are amazing. You are surrounded by lush gardens. We saw various birds, squirel, aguti, white faced capuchin monkeys eating in the garden. The monkeys break off sugar cane from the garden and take it into the trees. Santa Elena Town is a very short drive away. Be aware there are many unpaved roads in Costa Rica and we were glad to have a 4 wheel drive vehicle. "Our stay at Sunset Paradise House was wonderful! The house was comfortable, beautiful and clean, just like in the pictures. Monteverde is not too far away and has a variety of stores and restaurants. Ingrid was very responsive and nice! "

"We loved our stay in the dome. The view was absolutely breathtaking and the dome was immaculate! We enjoyed hanging out in the hot tub, watching the the sunset while clouds rolled in and layered on one another and then rolled back out. The property was easy to find, easy to access and located just outside of town. We were 5 minutes from the Sky Tram into the cloud forest. All in all, a fabulous stay!"

"The villa has a great view of the lake and is extremely quiet. It’s secluded but still close to the main road and we felt like it was a safe area The directions provided by the owner are good but it is hard to find at night. The furniture, bedding and amenities are pretty old but we were not expecting 5 star. We loved Nuevo Arenal compared to the very touristy La Fortuna but there are of course more activities there. Overall very happy with the villa"

"This is our second stay at Casa Mia. We love the setting and the house fits us perfectly. From our balcony we could see lots and lots of birds, even a troupe of monkeys came through to entertain us. Oscar and his wife are great hosts. Fresh flowers in the house! Fresh eggs and a loaf of bread were enough for two breakfasts for the four of us. Comfy beds. Can’t ask for more! We’ll be back again."

"Gorgeous property with beautiful walking trails and lots of wildlife. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Went above and beyond. The house is well equipped and exactly what we were looking for. Bijagua is a quaint little town with friendly people. Car rental would be recommended. Overall an incredible experience. "What an amazing property and community. Beyond relaxing, breathtaking views, and Bev (seems to be the Mayor of the Vistas ) is just fantastic. We didn’t get in until very late, beyond our projected time, and she still ensured our check-in was smooth and seamless. She can provide great recommendations too, if anything is needed.
