"Our little cabin was a great base for my 2 kids and I to explore Monteverde. Beds were very comfortable (but helpful to have earplugs for the fierce winds at night!) and breakfast was delicious. The property is beautiful and well-maintained. Since we had rented a car, it was nice to stay somewhere with convenient parking for coming in and out while also being within easy walking distance of town. "

"We loved Lost Iguana! This is our second trip to Costa Rica and our first to the Arenal Volcano area. The hotel grounds were lovely and very close to the Hanging Bridges. We booked a full day tour (bridges, volcano, waterfall) and spent the other two days hanging out at the pool/pool bar. We ate at the hotel restaurant for most of our meals and thought it was good and the price was reasonable. The breakfast buffet was also great. The hotel trail was also great (takes about 45 minutes). Be prepared to walk a lot of hilly terrain!"
