The property is modern and in good condition. The rooms were large and ours had a fabulous view towards the ocean and downtown Santa Elena. The staff was great, especially Ana and Alison at the front desk. I would stay here again.

The property is amazing and the staff even more so!! The grounds are immaculate and the view of the cloud forest breath taking. We woke up to a flat tire and Anna and Allison couldn’t have been more helpful in getting us to our morning excursion and on our way afterwards. Without their help we might still be there. We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Ficus Monterverde. We loved the spacious clean rooms with beautiful views (we were on the 2nd floor of the building the most higher up the hill), beautiful grounds and gardens, welcoming and helpful reception staff (cool towels and welcoming juice - nice attention!). I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Monterverde.
