"My husband and I stayed with our dog at this property and had a wonderful time! We have been to the trail many times during peak season, but decided we wanted to do something a little more lowkey and bring our dog. We spent quite a bit of time in the house, reading, watching TV cooking, and all of the amenities that we needed were there. Communication with the property owner, Steve, was also very easy and he was very responsive.Would recommend this cozy home! "

"This house was centrally located for us to visit a plethora of natural sites in the western/central portion of the Shawnee National Forest. It was wonderful coming home from long days of hiking to a fully stocked kitchen to make or heat our dinners, and to relax comfortably for the evening. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The wood panelling and the vaulted ceiling and the view were all so pretty. Very nice bathroom and kitchen. Lovely, very clean bedrooms and bedding. Super clean throughout. My only complaint is that the hot tub cover needs replacing. It was really difficult to open and close it. But, it was hot on a very cold January day. "
