"Staff was very friendly and went out of their way to gic eus early check in. It’s a beautiful historic hotel, we considered the other newer hotel downtown in town, but were so glad to go with Hotel Paisano as the other hotel looked like it could be anywhere in the world. "

"I like everything here, clean room, friendly staffs. One thing I do not like is it’s far from the national park and the road is uneven to drive."

"I was somewhat hesitate to book from some reviews, but friend and i had wonderful 2 nights here and was so convenient to Big Bend. Can be noisy by highway but staff was great and room comfortable and clean"

"Property reflects the nostalgia of the 1950's motel stops. It's old but fun. There is a lot of maintenance that needs to be done. Bathroom locks/door hardware require upgrade, hot water was an issue in the shower. Some units allow pets and others do not. However, those with pets let them do their business outside anywhere. I would suggest pouring river pea gravel around properties to keep the dust down during the wind storms. Despite these suggestions we enjoyed the place and would stay there...
