The container is entirely off-grid, with no electricity or running water, and is self-cleaning. It’s like camping, but with the added luxury of a memory foam mattress! Solar-powered lights illuminate the exterior at dusk, and battery-powered lights are available inside. For added convenience, we recommend bringing a flashlight or camping lantern to navigate the area at night. Additionally, be sure to bring plenty of water—we suggest at least 5 gallons for drinking and cleaning purposes.
**Access Requirements**
A high-clearance vehicle is REQUIRED to reach the container. The unpaved dirt roads can become impassable after rain and may take a day or more to dry out. Please plan accordingly.
**Eco-Friendly Stay**
In support of our eco-friendly initiatives, we ask guests to bring their own queen-size bed sheets and pillows. A comfortable queen-size memory foam mattress is provided for your stay.
**Guest Responsibility**
Rather than charging a cleaning fee, we kindly ask that you remove all trash and leave the container in as good or better condition than you found it. This helps us keep the space welcoming for future guests.
Please only book if you are willing and able to follow these guidelines. We look forward to hosting you and hope you enjoy the unique charm of our off-grid retreat!

We strongly recommend arriving during the daytime. The dirt roads leading to the container are unmarked and require a high-clearance vehicle.
Please note that cell service in the Big Bend area and on the property is spotty. While it’s a fantastic place to disconnect, it’s not ideal for getting stuck in the mud. Rain can cause significant delays in accessing the container, as even a small amount of rain can make the dirt roads impassable. This is particularly important during the monsoon season (summer), but we advise keeping an eye on the weather year-round.
We do not offer refunds due to weather-related issues. Be sure to check the forecast before your arrival.
